Small Numerical Rods

These rods are designed for individual work at a table. Material consists of 2 sets of 10 wooden rods divided into unit increments by alternating colors of red and blue. The Small Numerical Rods are supplied in a wooden box for storage. With this material children can conclude that the sum of numbers up to the nth number, for any n, is always (n2+n)/2.
